C.  Curriculum Review and Analysis

In preparation for the 2017 Summer Curriculum Writing Workshops for the K-5 Library Media Curriculum, you will work in groups to review and analyze two grade levels and the units within each:

Determine if a unit needs:

  • more rigor
  • more scaffolding
  • hands-on activity/ maker component
  • to be broken up into two lessons
  • to be shortened
  • complete overhaul (outdated, repetitive, not relevant)

Please remember that it is our goal to build in more BCPS One tools (i.e Tests and Quizzes, Discussions, among others), so please do not include these in your responses.

After working with your group, if you have an idea/suggestions for another unit outside of the two that your group completed, please submit the K-5 Library Media Curriculum Review and Analysis Form.
