Secondary LMS PD Oct 2017

AGENDA

Collection Development Plan 2017-18

Domain 4: Professional Responsibility - 4f. Collection Development and Maintenance The LMS consistently analyzes the collection and resources in order to ensure access to a quality collection of both print and digital content.  Purchases are made based collection analysis, circulation data, and stakeholder input. Inventory and weeding of the collection are consistently performed.  LMS advocates for necessary increases in funds to maintain a collection that is responsive to changing instructional needs.

Essential Question: Why is analyzing your current collection a crucial starting point in the collection development process?

Goal Participants will engage in self-reflection, discussion, and peer review in order to enhance individual Collection Development Plans.
