BCPL Summer Reading Challenge
BCPL's Summer Reading Challenge will take place from June 1 through August 31, 2024. This year’s theme, "Adventure Begins at Your Library" features a variety of events and programs to encourage participants of all ages to explore, learn, create and connect through books, programs and activities—all while earning points for a chance to win some valuable prizes.

- End of Summer Prize Drawing- Complete the Summer Reading Challenge to earn five tickets to the prize drawing! Prizes include:
- Family membership to one of the following:
- Maryland Science Center
- Maryland Zoo
- Port Discovery Children’s Museum
- National Aquarium
- Nintendo Switch video game system

Choose which prizes your tickets go toward on Beanstack or by filling out the completion form on your paper game board and returning it to any branch.
Drawings will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Winners will be contacted by phone or email by Friday, September 1 and asked to select a branch location to pick up their prize. Please be sure to provide an email address or phone number when registering on Beanstack.

Monday, June 18: Summer Reading Challenge Officially Begins.

Sunday, August 19: Last Day to register for Summer Reading Challenge (youth and adult)

Monday, August 20: All teen raffle drawings held and winners notified

Friday, August 24: All Adult raffle prize winners notified

Sunday, September 2: Last day to claim all prizes, stickers, raffle prizes
