BCPL Student Accounts

Students have access to check out books and eBooks from BCPL without a library card using their BCPS Student Account number. 

Information about Student Accounts:

BCPS Student ID Numbers & One Cards:

• BCPL Student Account numbers are their 9-digit BCPS Student ID numbers. If a student has enrolled post-ransomware, this number may show as a "Local ID" number.
• Student ID numbers may be accessed by LMS using Destiny Patron Names Report (by HR, teacher, etc.). 
• Students may find their Student ID # on any Grade Report in Schoology. 
• Student ID numbers (or "Local ID") are available in Focus. Students can view their ID number by checking "My Profile." Directions for Teachers/LMS are attached.
• Accounts for new students will be added automatically from Focus as they are enrolled. 
• Students will use their BCPS Student ID numbers as the username and password 0000 to access BCPL databases, BrainFuse, and digital collections.
• Students can give their name to the librarian at any BCPL branch to check out materials at the circulation desk.
