Library Leadership Council

 Library Leadership Council

A group of library media specialist leaders who represent strong, varied, and diverse voices and perspectives from across our LMS community.

The Library Leadership Council meets monthly approximately 10 times each year. Members are paid the TABCO attendee rate for each session, and each application and candidacy are good for a one-year term, after which every LMS has a chance to apply again.

Goals:

  • Discuss topics of concern for BCPS LMS

  • Create, develop, and lead professional learning

  • Serve on a reconsideration committee if necessary

  • Beta test resources and products prior to launch

  • Provide input and feedback on current processes and procedures

  • Represent all stakeholders from their school community and geographic region.
