Battle of the Books

Session:  Battle of the Books

Audience: Elementary
 

Facilitator: Cheryl Johnson

Outcome: Participants will gain resources and strategies for having students in grades 4-5 participate in the Battle of the Books competition, sponsored by BCPL and focusing on the Black Eyed Susan chapter books.

 

Agenda:

Chatsworth and Reisterstown Elementary Schools participated in the first Baltimore County Public Library Battle of the Books in the spring of 2014. Last year, more schools participated through their local branches. For the spring of 2016, BCPL wants to continue to expand the program to include more students from more BCPS schools.
