RESOURCES

*PLEASE CONSULT THESE RESOURCES BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS AND REPORTING ISSUES!

  1. Use LibraryTrac pages on this wiki to ensure accuracy of your district-wide Settings and that you are following district protocols.
  2. Use the LibraryTrac About page  (with video tutorials) for your own learning and to help you train faculty/students.
  3. Use the LibraryTrac User Guide  *** REVISED FREQUENTLY!  Discard older hard copies, and re-print if you like to have a hard copy version for desk reference. Check the User Guide link frequently for future updates!

    • Scott Allen also sends all users occasional email updates as needed.

  4. SUPPORT MODEL:
    • If you have a question or issue that the user community might be able to help with, or insights/resources to share, use the LibraryTrac Discussion thread in the Secondary Library Media Schoology Group.

    • If you have an issue requiring immediate attention or are unable to get an answer from the community, contact LibraryTrac from the form within the program (Help> Contact LibraryTrac) or email the software developer Scott Allen scott.allen@librarytrac.com and Cc:  Amanda Lanza alanza@bcps.org

  5. Order a second Barcode Scanner (under $100) to use as a separate Student LibraryTrac Login station:

    • Order this barcode scanner from eSchool Mall. After logging into eSchool Mall, pull down the Catalog menu to CDW Inc. (dynamic link). In the CDW catalog Search field, type the part number 2504441 and the correct scanner will display. If you don't have access to eSchool Mall, your purchasing designee can order it for you there.  - OR-
